OverviewTwo buildings separated by a centrally located garden make up Thambili House. Named after the refreshing king coconut, Thambili House is a high ceiling 4 bedroom house perfect for families and groups of friends. Located in the historic Galle Fort the architecture is in keeping with the Dutch period. Entering from the Rampart St through large wooden stable doors into a palm tree courtyard the double fronted teak doors usher you into the open plan sitting study area. Hand made tiles flow throughout the ground floor of the house towards a columned dining area that overlooks the garden of bamboo and flowering creepers. The master suite, Nutmeg, has a private breakfast terrace with one of THE views over the ramparts out to sea.
